Apparently, Odell Beckham Jr. has not gotten over last season’s back and fourth scuffle between him and cornerback Josh Norman, who played for the Carolina Panthers last season. According to ESPN.Com staff writer John Keim, Beckham told GQ Magazine that “The reason he’s become so relevant is because of me.”
That was a very inaccurate statement for Beckham has made in regards to the All-Pro corner. Josh Norman is relevant because of the work that he has put in during the past two seasons with the Carolina Panthers.
Last season’s scuffle between these two All-Pros would cause OBJ to be suspended for one game and Josh Norman a hefty fine for his actions during last season’s contest between the two teams.
OBJ will have an opportunity to back up his words this season because the two will be able to face each other twice this season. Norman signed a five-year, $75 million dollar contract with Washington in April. A remark like this is what keeps the league relevant during the offseason.
